Name: Arlana Donavon
Nature: Caregiver
Everyone needs a shoulder to cry on. A Caregiver takes her comfort in consoling others, and people often come to her with their problems. Vampires with Caregiver Archetypes often attempt, as best they can, to protect the mortals on whom they feed. Nurses, doctors, and psychiatrists are examples of potential Caregivers. Caregiver Kindred are often the type who -- tragically -- Embrace mortal loves they've left behind in hopes of softening their loss, or even those who create situations of grief in order to ease it and thus validate themselves. Regain a point of Willpower whenever you successfully protect or nurture someone else.
Sex: Female
Player: Leo
Demeanor: Loner
Even in a crowd the Loner sticks out, because he so obviously does not belong. Others view Loners as pariahs, remote, and isolated, but in truth the Loner prefers his own company to that of others. For whatever reason, the Loner simply disdains others, and this feeling is often reciprocated. Criminals, radicals, and free thinkers are all Loner Archetypes. Kindred Loners often hail from one of the rugged individualist Clans like the Gangrel or Ravnos, and they have a proclivity for ending up Autarkis by dint of not giving a shit what some up-his-own-ass Prince or Archbishop says is a law. Regain a point of Willpower when you accomplish something by yourself, yet which still benefits the coterie in some way.

Merits and Flaws:
[ 1 ] Impatient (Flaw)
You have no patience for standing around and waiting. You want to do things now -- fuck those slowpokes trying to hold you back. Every time you are forced to wait around instead of acting, a Self-Control roll is required to see if you go tearing off on your own instead.
[ 4 ] Mute (Flaw)
You cannot speak. You may communicate with the Storyteller and describe your actions, but cannot talk to player or Storyteller characters unless everyone concerned purchases a commonly understood sign language (via the Language Merit) or you write down what you wish to say.
[ 1 ] Harmless ( Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition -- Page 487 )
Everyone in the city knows you, and knows that you're no threat to their plans. While that sort of estimation may seem insulting, it's also what's kept you from being killed. No one considers you worth their time to deal with, and that low opinion keeps you safe. If you start acting in a way that demonstrates that you are no longer harmless, others' reactions to you will likely change as a result.
[ 2 ] Sanctity ( Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition -- Page 488 )
This Merit is sometimes called the halo effect; everyone considers you pure and innocent, though not necessarily naive. You have a saint-like quality that is hard to pinpoint but cannot be denied. You are trusted, even if you are not trustworthy. At the Storyteller's discretion, you tend to receive lesser punishments for wrongdoing, and you are liked by most.
Bio:
She was six when she first saw the coast of England, a sort of love hate relationship between her home country of Ireland, and the new land she was coming to live in. The wars between the Presbyterians and the Prodestants was getting to be far too intense in the area where they lived, and when her father had gotten the chance to work in London, he had wasted no time at all packing the family up and moving them along.
Of course, if she had a problem with it, there wasn't very much she could say about it. She was just one of lifes little mysteries, born without a voice yes, but enough pluck and gumption to make sure if someone pissed her off they knew it. Here or home it didn't matter, she and her brother were stuck together in this weird world, and there was shit all to be done about it.
Her brother Michael was born only 11 months ahead of her sadly earning them the whole breeding like rabbits Irish joke that everyone and their bloody mother hashes on about. Still they did alright together, and when they got to England it became apparent both of them were something of academic whiz's, and they adjusted easily to their new life and schools. Such was as it was for the next 17 years of her life, and at the age of twenty three, she was a college student and at the end of her courses and ready to graduate.
She and her brother had moved to Birmingham when she had started school, the colleges here had all the courses she wanted, and the cost of living was a deal cheaper than in London. She worked random temp jobs for various law firms until she got to her current job, working at the Cafe La Vie en Rose, and her brother?...
Well... He had been gifted in the looks departments, and he knew it too, and where to boys go when they are pretty? NO, not modeling, that tends to have too much money passing through hands that weren't his, and the pay wasn't always up front. No, he did even better, he danced...
No... Not the Ballet... Or Jazz... Or anything so mundane. No... Her brother Stripped.
Together, they rented a comfortable two bedroom flat in town, choosing to live together and cut the cost of rent.
Of course, not everything is always as it seemed, those rose tinted glasses aren't always painted with pink champagne you know... Like a few mortals in this world, she knew of the other side of the coin, and though she wasn't exactly immersed in it she did work around it from time to time. Mostly little things, small little things pertaining to the laws and such, something the bigger and better established lawyers didn't feel it was worth their time to do...
So this is how it is now... Tomorrow will likely be the same... And so too the day after...
