Post by Bethany on Dec 17, 2014 18:31:43 GMT
Name : Veronique Fluer Dubois
Player: Bethany Belle
Chronicle : Birmingham By Night
She feels the need to be punished. She feels like a monster, she only feels better about herself when she feels pain. How much pain can tolerate before she collapsea. She gains a certain satisfaction from suffering humiliation, depravation and even mutilation, especially when she is the cause of that pain and has some control over it. She knows that her need is somewhat perverse, but she knows she isn't crazy. This is just the way she is, she never wanted to be this way
Demeanor : Conformist
She is a follower. Taking charge is just not her style. It is easy for her to adapt, attune, adjust, comply and reconcile herself to whatever new situation she finds herself in. She flits to the brightest star, the person whom she feels to be the best, throwing her lot in with them. It is both difficult and distasteful for her to go against the flow or rebel. She hates inconsistency and instability, and knowa that by supporting a strong leader, she helps prevent chaos from occurring. All stable groups need some kind of Conformist.
Generation : 13th
Concept : Dirty Little Secret
she has been allowed to live, but she is an embarrassment to the clan. She really has no home anymore and she has little prospect of getting one. Basically she is sent out into the world to fend for herself , and few will help her for fear of being linked with her scandal.

Alertness : 1

Thaumaturgy 1 (Oneiromancy)
From the ephemeral fragments of his own dreams, the magus may attempt a personal reading of the near future. While asleep, the oneiromancer draws upon the dream imagery flittering in the unconscious. Upon waking from the divination, the Cainite may scrutinize the meaning of the visions. Although these visions of the present and future are invariably hazy, they often provide important glimpses into significant events.
Obfuscate (Non clan) 1
Cloak of Shadows
At this level, the vampire must rely on nearby shadows and cover to assist in hiding his presence. He steps into an out-of-the way, shadowed place and eases himself from normal sight. The vampire remains unnoticed as long as he stays silent, still, under some degree of cover (curtain, bush, door frame, lamppost, alley) and out of direct lighting. The immortal's concealment vanishes if he moves, attacks or falls under direct light. Furthermore, the vampire's deception cannot stand concentrated observation without fading.
Virtues ----------(7)---------------- Badgery Edit: This whole section is fine
Conscience : 3
Self- control : 4
Courage : 3
Humanity : = 7
Willpower = 3
Blood pool: ten total with one per turn.
Sleep Unseen (2-pt. merit)
You can use the Obfuscate Discipline to hide while you sleep during the day. Such prolonged use of this ability requires an extra blood point to keep your body hidden for a full day. Of course, you must at least be hidden from sunlight, and vampires using the Auspex Discipline can still detect you, but mortals will ignore your very presence. This is a useful Merit for Nosferatu emissaries and travelers; many would perish without it. Badgery Edit: Usually nosferatu only. I am willing to let this one slide.
Double Betrayer (4-pt. Flaw)
At some point in the past, your character undertook the Vaulderie. She may have legitimately tried to join the Sabbat, or perhaps she didn't know any better or was compelled. Regardless, she now bears the mark of the Betrayer. She has since been redeemed and welcomed back into the clan's ranks, but the mark will haunt her always.
As usual with the mark, all Tremere can tell that your character betrayed the clan once. Those who know of your character's past will treat her with contempt; add two dots to the social difficulties for interacting with other Tremere, so long as they're loyal to the clan. Tremere who don't know the circumstances will probably assume that your character is a Sabbat traitor, and might try to capture or destroy her, or at least attempt to inform the pyramid of her whereabouts. Should your character ever fail in her reports or relapse in bad behavior, you can expect that she will be hunted down just like the Tremere do with other threats.
Diabolic Sire: (2 pt) (VPG)
Your sire is engaged in acts that could cause a tremendous uproar in the Camarilla. He could be wantonly breaking the Masquerade, or hunting down the elders of the city and feasting on their blood. Archons are likely to come to you in order to discover your sire's whereabouts, and they may not believe you if you tell them you do not know.
Infamous Sire: (1 pt) (VPG)
Your sire was, and perhaps still is, distrusted and disliked by many of the Kindred in the city. As a result, you are distrusted and disliked as well. This is a heavy load, and one not easily shed.
****(I am fully aware that this history will eventually lead to the death of the character, I am completely and totally ok with that. As long the storyline is interesting and the secrets come out in a logical manner...I am fully aware that this character has limited lifespan in play)
Veronique Dubois was born into a servant class in Paris, France in 1643. She grew up with a rather unremarkable childhood, nothing really happened to her that made her stand out in anyone’s eyes. She was just a servant girl in one of the major noble house of France. She was a young woman in her mid 20's when she started to run into a man that roamed the grounds at night. A man that announced himself as Geralde Tusse' He was a “Independently wealthy individual”, and she soon learned that this really meant he was a rogue, and a thief. She adored the element of danger to the man and she quickly fell in love with him.
Geralde was not a very high ranking member of the Tremere clan, but he had some lofty goals. He was not exactly stable in the head, and was noted to suffer from bouts of utter madness. Of course he contained his madness and his dislike of the current Prince hidden within the confines of his own mind. He did not agree with the council ruling that the there should be no more embracing of the mortals...he thought it was a stupid rule. Geralde went ahead and took Veronique as a sexual conquest anyway, and embraced her...much to the disapproval of the rest of the clan.
Facing discipline Geralde went on the offensive, killing and as the rumors go...Diabalry was done...to any that came for Him. His madness peaked and he assaulted the leaders of the clan, who in self defense “ Most likely killed Geralde Tusse'...for his crimes”. One of the grand libraries suffered incredible damage when Geralde set fire to the chantry, but that was so very long ago and the rumors are strong that he lived ..and he dragged some small cadre of followers , including Veronique into hiding with him. His small exiled group was rumored to be taken in by the nosferatu, who hoped to use this generosity as a tool in the future. It was her that Veronique learned much of her disciplines, and even picked up her ability to Obfuscate, and sleep Unseen.
Veronique spent many many years hidden from the council, hidden from the clans and the camarilla. She surfaced some years later when the Nosferatu had no further use for her and the rest of the Tremere exiles. She was reintroduced into the society, and only a precious few know of her dark and troubled Sire. The Council accepted her back into the Clan and she was given a free pass at making a life for herself. She flourished well enough in her years of exile...but She was no longer welcome in France, for fear that her Sire was not actually dead and there concern of a repeat should he surface. She was sent away to England...banished from her homeland. She was to start a new history, and to try and leave her dark and twisted past behind her.
