Gifts:
[ 1 ] Enemy Ways ( Changing Breeds 20th Anniversary Edition -- Page 99 )
The Corax gains an acute and accurate danger sense. This Gift is taught by one of Grandfather Thunder's Stormcrows.
System: The player rolls Perception + Primal-Urge, difficulty 7. Success grants knowledge of the number and nature of hostile entities within (Wisdom x 20) yards, with more successes granting clearer information.
[ 1 ] Raven's Gleaning ( Changing Breeds 20th Anniversary Edition -- Page 99 )
The Corax may tell, at a glance, whether or not a shiny object is worth obtaining. A raven-spirit teaches this Gift.
System: The player spends a point of Gnosis, bestowing instinctive knowledge of whether or not a specific object the Corax can perceive is of value (this may indicate financial or practical value, or that it will be in some way useful in the future -- the Corax doesn't know which).
[ 1 ] Word Beyond ( Changing Breeds 20th Anniversary Edition -- Page 100 )
This Gift allows the Corax to create a message out of any available materials while in the Umbra, which can be instinctively understood by other wereravens. One of Coyote's brood teaches this Gift.
System: The player rolls Wits + Expression (difficulty 6) to create a marker out of nearby Umbral materials. The number of successes indicates the complexity of the message that can be encrypted into the marker; one success would suffice for simple concepts such as "danger" or "safe haven," while five successes could convey complex concepts equivalent to a short essay. Non-Corax cannot read these markers.
[ 1 ] Morse ( Changing Breeds 20th Anniversary Edition -- Page 99 )
By tapping out his message onto a nearby hard surface, a Corax can make sure that someone out there gets his message. This Gift is taught by a machine-spirit.
System: The player spends a Gnosis point, ensuring that the nearest Corax will hear (and understand) the message clearly. With a difficulty 8 Wits + Expression roll, the message can instead be directed to the nearest Gaian shapeshifter of any breed.
[ 2 ] Swallow's Return ( Changing Breeds 20th Anniversary Edition -- Page 100 )
This Gift will safely carry a Corax home, even when she doesn't know where 'home' is. A swallow-spirit teaches it.
System: The player spends a point of Gnosis. The Corax flies to the place she truly considers 'home' on autopilot, without any conscious awareness of the path she takes; she may even do so while healing or sleeping.

Merits:
[ 2 ] Double Draught ( Changing Breeds 20th Anniversary Edition -- Page 207 )
Prerequisite: Corax
Unlike most Corax, the character can drink from both of a dead man's eyes, seeing the best and the worst of the corpse's death.
Flaws :
[ 1 ] Overconfident ( Werewolf: the Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition -- Page 477 )
You can do anything -- or so you think. No challenge is too big for you to tackle, regardless of whether you actually have the skill to succeed. Never refuse to attempt something due to being out-gunned, outclassed, or outnumbered. If you fail, you will find someone or something else to blame; it couldn't have been any lack on your part, of course.
Fetishes:
(Talens-One use Fetish/Has a few of these and makes them as needed)
Moon Sign
Gnosis 5
This small wax seal bears the sign of the full moon.
When activated and thrown down before any werewolf,
the werewolf’s player must succeed on a Willpower roll
(difficulty 7), or the character changes immediately into
Lupus form. This talen works on Black Spiral Dancers
and other Fera as well, making them shift to their
animal form.
To create a moon sign, one must bind a Lune, Wyldspirit,
or wolf-spirit into the seal.
Yava:
Corax like to talk. A lot. In fact, it is very hard to get them to shut up. It doesn't matter if it's a secret or widely-known information, the Corax are spreading it around freely. The only exception are Corax weaknesses, especially where their aversion to gold is concerned.
Corax are not allergic to silver; they can wear all the silver they want. Instead, they gain aggravated damage from gold. This little secret is something the Corax do their best to hide from everyone.
If it sparkles, we're there. The only thing that draws a Corax more than a secret is a shiny. Just try to keep your wits about you when you come in for a landing, okay? Sparklies are bad-guys' favorite bait for us, so next time you do a power dive to scoop up a dime, take a peek around, even if it's hard [Willpower roll, difficulty 7] to look away.
Mistake...
Freak...
Unwanted...
That was just how it went growing up... Humans think they are the only ones who push the strange ones out, as if they are the superior in their hatred, their judgement...
They aren't.
He was born Albino, though if his father was one he never knew, his dad had rather broken tradition and left his mom with a single egg to raise on her own. Usually Ravens actually mate for life, so when the pairing is broken it typically ends up ruining one or the other. His mother had managed to hatch and feed him, but when he got older but he didn't darken up, she pushed him out of the nest...
That was the first spring of his life...
The thing that saved him had been a little girl. She had taken him in and gave him drops or something, kept him warm and safe, and didn't push him out because he was different. He stayed with her though she changed over the years...
Cancer...
Cancer was what had taken his friend, and as a young Raven, he didn't know how to handle the grief of her loss. One moment he was out of his box and on her bed beside her, nuzzling her hand to try and get her to pet him like she used to, and the next he was like her...
It was terrifying...
Her father had come in when he heard the yell, thought he was some stranger come in to hurt his daughter, the words freak and stranger and stalker... who knew what else was tossed at him that day, though he didn't understand why...
That was the first day he was a human, and though not his last, it had certainly set a caste of sorts... It was a mold for the rest of his life, how he would feel about being in a human form, how they treated one another.
It had taken him a long... Long... Long time before he learned how to shift back, to become a bird again, and even then it was hard. He had to learn to fly, how to build a nest, how to feed. How to avoid cats and dogs alike, and cars, and generally being on his own.
He did ok...
He survived after all, though when he did shift, it wasn't often. He preferred to be on the wing, in the shape his body knew most, his Natural form...
Marrok has been hopping around Europe for some time now, never really staying in one place long, partially for safety and partially for boredom. What his kind saw as a bad mistake, humans saw as a collectors item, and more than once he had had to make a mad scramble to keep from being in someones cage.
He wasn't always alone though, now and then he found a group he would roost with for a while, nothing too serous but it helped to pass the time. They taught him more about being a bird, about tricks for nest building and the best part of a carcass, how to elude trappers and hunters alike...
And then... The dreaded mating season. He just didn't do it! Each time of year that rolled around, he would shift into his human form, and just rough it as a pink thing for a while. It was better than being expected to breed and have eggs, to nest up with someone for life, it just wast his bag...
At of now, for the last few months, he has been living in an abandoned grounds keeper shack in the park.
