Lyrik was born Lyrik Marie Abbot to John and Marie Abbot. For the most part she was a normal child, she was a free spirit who got along with everyone, and even in her adulthood had a few child like qualities about her. She enjoyed poetry, and singing and was often found in parks reading and singing to herself. However, there was something a bit..off about dear Lyrik. Her parents would often notice her whispering to herself, or her being depressed for days, even weeks, at a time. Back in those days they blamed it on being possessed or something, and either tried to have the demons expelled from you, or they would send you away. Sadly for our little Lyrik, she was sent away to a public asylum because her parents didn't want her to cause her family embarassment or shame. While she was locked away from society, she slowly got worse..the "treatments" that they did on people back then were more torturous than helpful, so her conditions worstened. Not even the ice pick to the frontal lobe trick worked. As she sat in her room just wasting away, both mentally and physically, she caught the eye of a rather odd fellow who was helping out at the asylum...his name was Andreas.
Andreas worked at the asylum just to have something to do, he didn't need the money or anything, but he just needed something to pass the time away, and he was looking for something, or well...someone. See, Andreas was a vampire, a Malkavian to be more exact, and he was looking for a companion, so what better way to find someone worthy of change than at the asylum? Lyrik caught his eye because she truly did have a mental illness, not just something that was different and caused her to be sent away. He knew that if she had even the tiniest of mental ailment about her that she would do just fine once he changed her. So with a plan in place, he started talking with her to try and gain her trust, which wasn't all that hard because she was already a pretty trustful person. Once he knew she was ready, he changed her. It wasn't very pretty..sure, it felt good, but there was a lot of blood and some pain, and at first she fought it, but in the end she just gave in. Once she was changed they left the asylum to begin a life together.
Fast foward a few hundred years later and Andreas was no more, he had went and gotten himself killed leaving poor Lyrik on her own. Luckily she was strong enough to fend for herself and survive. She is still roaming around in England, Birmingham to be exact, and she is still as crazy as a loon, she still sings to herself, mostly old nursery rhyme songs that she has added a few words to. She lives alone, but it seems to be better that was as nobody can actually stand the nut ball for to long.
